Why are you speaking at the Women Automotive Summit?
To share an international perspective of Women in STEM as it relates to the automotive industry.
Why do you think such an event is important to the industry?
To highlight what women have already contributed to this industry and what positive impacts more women in professional, technical and leadership positions could provide in the future.
What will you be speaking about and contributing to the event?
As the President of INWES, I can provide an international perspective as well as relate to the future of the automotive industry with regards to the applicable United Nations Sustainable Goals for 2030.
What is the most challenging issue currently a ecting the automotive industry?
One of the challenges is attracting new talent with a wide variety of backgrounds and required engineering and leadership training to envision and create automobiles with improved safety, fuel e ciency and sustainability for the future.
What do think the future holds?
Many opportunities for those who can understand that long-term economic growth is only achievable with a diverse workforce and decisions that incorporate preservation of our environment and sustainable concepts.
