Why are you speaking at the Women Automotive Summit?

The opportunity to meat and interact with some of the smartest and most competent women in the industry, blow me away. I´m truly looking forward to meet all – and share thoughts of the future opportunities and development within automotive and connected society.

Why do you think such an event is important to the industry?

All industries need to constantly evolve – and one of the important enablers for that is diversity – in all aspects. This event brings the female great minds thinking in to that context – and I´m excited over what that could bring to the industry.

What will you be speaking about / contributing to the event?

To be honest – I haven´t quite yet decided, since there are so many interesting aspects to bring to the table. But my personal passion areas are the digitalization aspects and the possibilities and impacts it has on the business when the Car evolves to a “Car as a software”. How the organization/culture needs to embrace that and change. Not tomorrow – it need to change today – and how we women can contribute to that change.

What is the most challenging issue currently affecting the automotive industry?

To start with the bigger picture its Sustainability, Affordability and Democratic Mobility – the impact it has on people and the world.  The tech trends within automotive such as AI, ML, cloud and the usage and benefits of connected big data flows – makes new solutions possible. The current challenge for OEM:s is to adopt themselves to these new possibilities and change as quickly as needed to really gain the benefits from software development and bringg new differentiating digital services to the market and to the customers.


What do think the future holds?

Loads of opportunities! And to reach the full potential of these opportunities we will see more and more collaboration and shared knowledge and perspectives between eco-system partners which I find truly inspiring.
