Livia Toth Plug and Play Speaker Interview – Stuttgart
Why are you speaking at the Women Automotive Summit?
As a woman in the innovation and tech scene working closely with OEMs like Daimler Porsche and with young tech companies I want to encourage women talents with my example to be part of this amazing fast paced industry.
Why do you think such an event is important to the industry?
The automotive and tech space is still traditionally led by male engineers and managers. There are only few women. So, just by numbers, the industry is missing out on 50% of potential – plus women often add new perspectives, and di erent perceptions to the table.
What will you be speaking about and contributing to the event?
Plug and Play’s mobility programs in Silicon Valley, Germany, Japan and China in partnership with OEMs and automotive suppliers, such as Daimler, Porsche, Hyundai, and many more are all about evaluating and thriving technology in a real world environment with the ultimate goals: successful production-ready implementations or long-term investments. Can’t wait to share our story and get inspired by the thought leaders of the automotive industry!
What is the most challenging issue currently a ecting the automotive industry?
There is a huge transition currently taking place from traditional combustion technology and classical business model towards an electric, autonomous, connected and shared future of mobility.
What do think the future holds?
The future of mobility is currently re-shaping with a lot of opportunities and white spaces to be yet filled with colour.
